To all my avid readers during the past years. It is finally officially, I am leaving IPAG in September 2023. I have been very silent during the past months, and the main reason was that, during my sabbatical year, I was trying to figure out what to do in the future. I spent a lot of time in the mountains climbing, which is what I do when I am not a researcher, and pondering about options.

In all honesty, I haven’t yet decided what to do. For family reasons I am bound to Luxembourg or its proximity. I would prefer to stay in academia, but I am also looking at other options as, surprisingly, environmental economics in or around Luxembourg is not really a profession in high demand.

I am happy to continue research, or work on projects or consulting. If you are a consulting company that needs a specialist in environmental economics, don’t hesitate to get in touch for project-related work. If you are a research institute that needs project evaluations, research collaboration on projects, etc., let me know.

In addition to all this, I am also looking at other options outside of academia, more on this maybe later.
